- How does the free trial start and end?
- It starts when you press Start on this website or in the app, once your email address is verified. It runs 168 hours and ends on its own. There is no card and nothing is charged. One trial per new account. When it ends, the app shows that the trial is over, and you choose a monthly or yearly plan only if you want to continue.
- What does it cost after the trial?
- $5 a month or $50 a year, in US dollars, through Stripe checkout; the available payment methods are shown there. The yearly plan is one payment for twelve months. Cancel any time in your billing account; cancelling stops future renewals.
- Is there an iPhone version?
- A native iPhone app is not available. The web version can be opened in a current Safari browser; try the public preview and check your device before subscribing. Android availability depends on the device and Play country.
- Do I need a smart TV?
- A TV is not required. Check the Play Store listing for your Android device before subscribing. Availability and controls vary by device; we do not guarantee compatibility with every TV box or older tablet.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Open the billing portal from your account to manage cancellation. Review the effective cancellation date shown there before confirming. Contact info@tickwire.news if you need help or the displayed terms are unclear.
- Is there advertising or tracking?
- Tickwire is a subscription-funded news display. Website measurement and third-party services are explained in our Privacy Policy.
- Where do the stories come from?
- More than 25 established outlets including BBC, Guardian, Reuters, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera and AP. Duplicates are merged, and every story shows how many distinct outlets report the same event. This count is not a guarantee of accuracy.
- Does one subscription cover all my screens?
- Use the same account on supported devices. Device and store compatibility must be checked separately. News, clock and available live TV are the core views.
